Spending gold on 3.3.5

Well guys, here is the deal.
I'm playing on a private server and soon will be updated to cataclysm
The thing is the economy is messed up, so they will wipe our gold ( BUT not our items )
So i was wondering some ways to buy stuff and then sell them on cataclysm launch

Basically i've 500k gold and i'm trying to find alternative ways to keep it, otherwise i'll loose 98 % of it or even more
Any sugestion ?

Ps: Currently the server is 3.3.5

Send mails with gold to your alt characters but don't accept the gold until the patch has hits.
