Instant exploration?

Hi, let me start off by saying i'm pretty new to wow so this might be just common knowledge.

I've noticed a few times now people in stormwind all of a sudden getting a spam of achievements for exploration - mainly like the old lands. Anyone know what that's all about and how i can do it?

Its not an exploit, its the first time they have logged in since those achievements were available, on that character.

at least im 90% sure that is the reason. either way, no exploit involved.

Those characters are mostly logging in after doing the SoR i believe.
