Unmerged Account Monk. Trial??

Hello, I'm considering levling up a monk. And i will probably buy a unmerged account and grant it to 80. Though it requires mist of pandaria to creat a monk, wouln't it work to add 10 days of MoP trial and create the monk and transfer the char to my account?

Okay so i did some research for people woundering. i found this:

Players who receive a Scroll of Resurrection will not be able to apply rewards (e.g. boost to level 80) to monk characters.

Correct, you can not grant a monk up to level 80 using SoR, however, if you have unused RaF levels, those can be used to grant him up to 80.
