Alliance tabard as horde question

I have a quick question for you guys who got Alliance Tabard as Horde!

I was one of the fast ones to get this, but now all my homies are switching to alliance, i was just wondering wtf will happen to my precious baby's? Will they convert to Horde Tabards, so i now am Alliance with Horde Tabards? or will they just be the same? and WHEN i decide to convert back, will they still be Alliance Tabard, so im Horde with Alliance Tabard again?

I'm not sure which exploit you are talking about, but I managed to get alliance tabards on my horde character back (few years ago?) when you could buy them from the vendor in shattrath for a little while. I can say this:

If you wear the tabard, and logout/zone/anything that gets a loading screen, it will dissapear.

Have it in bank and you will not lose it. I sometimes stand in org, take it out of bank, wear it, put it in again before I zone.

Yeah thats the exploit im talking about, though i dont lose it from loggin / zoning out? I have mine all the time. But did u faction change? so you are alliance with horde tabard?

I had an Alliance tabard on my cross faction panda (became Horde) but it was converted to a Horde one a while back. Is there anything you did to keep yours?
Faction changes probably work by the server checking what item IDs you have that don't belong to the other faction, so say you had a horde tabard on an ally, the horde tabard remains unchanged because Horde chars can usually get one. However, if you change back the server should change it to an ally one because it sees it as any other tabard. But that's just a theory, the only way to find out is to actually do it. It could say something interesting about how the server works.

I didnt quite understand you, but didnt really do anything but buy it in shattarath city, and then i jsut had it 4ever

Yes he bought it in shat it was a few years ago the vendor allowed the purchase of any tabard (didnt recognize faction limitations).
