Some one help me please! ;)

Hi! So I have been registered here at ownedcore for some month now. And i kinda want to sell honor cap. However I don't know how to start :O I'd like to make a thread in the trading forums but I don't know if i need some kind of premium membership here at oc. Also, how do i get payed by paypal? Do I have to link my bank or something? I already have an account on Paypal. Answer plz

P.S: To clearify: I want to sell honor cap boost (4000 honor) for around 10$ I will use a bot. However just to get some to trust me I'm giving them away for free!

Some one help me please! ;)

I'll speak from my personal experience here.

Go into World of Warcraft Buy Sell Trade and create a thread.

Inside the thread, list your prices, specify that it is completed by bot, list your payment method, your contact details (A lot of people are using Skype), and your terms and conditions.

I started off with one post, one rep when I started offering custom made accounts. Some people laughed at me for being a scammer and 1 rep 1 post wonder, but I got there in the end. Your first customers might be harder to convince, even if it is free, that you are legit and won't steal their accounts and money. As you get customers, you get rep and feedback.

Terms and Conditions should list things such as what you will do if you get their account banned, if they get their account banned through fault of their own, what will happen if you can't complete the service, etc.

As for PayPal, they pay you by giving them your email address. They send the money to it.

Money will stay in PayPal unless you withdraw it to a bank account. To add a bank account, you just provide PayPal with your bank details. They'll deposit (or withdraw, I don't remember) a small amount of money. To verify it is your bank account, you will have to tell PayPal how much money it was that was received/taken.

You have to be aware that people can claim they didn't receive goods and get their money back after you do the service for them. While it's not 100% guaranteed, you should ask them to send payment for "Services" and to write into the notes "I am buying virtual services. I acknowledge this is not refundable under PayPal Buyer Protection Policy". If they don't do this, don't accept payment and refund it.

Also be aware PayPal do take a percentage of all payments received. Some people like to receive all payments as a gift, but if this happens too much PayPal will investigate since gifts aren't meant to be used for anything other than gifts. While it may be tempting, it's not worth it in the long run.

Also be aware that if you live in America or Australia (only two countries I know about for certain), payments received in PayPal for services performed DO count towards your taxable income. While some people claim that they do it as a hobby, the tax offices in their respective countries will argue that you are doing it for profit and a secondary income and can tax you on this money.

I've been having to pay tax on all my World of Warcraft related sales since last financial year. Just keep this in mind. If you intend to make any sort of money with this, I'd speak with an accountant before going ahead to see if you will need to pay tax on this money received.

I'd also read up on PayPal disputes, since chances are you'll run into them.

Good luck with your venture and feel free to ask any questions
