    Make a living?

    Hi!
I am wondering if it is possible to make a living from just botting?
With a living i really mean a living, rent, food, bills.
And to be a bit personal, i wanna do this because i have no work and its killing me cause i have social phobia.
I wanna buy for example a bunch of SoR accounts and level cap them and then bot them and sell gold, so would i be able to live out of this and how many bots/accounts would it take?

I look forward to hearing from you guys that are doing this in a large scale, because i understand that if its possible, its not with 1 or 2 bots :P
Also, if it is possible to make a living, what are the procedure, anything special i need to consider before starting?

    Thanks in advance

Im not sure if its possible since you live in Sweden. i mean, if you live in China than sure. you can life fine with a 500 dollar income a month there. Im guessing that barely makes rent in Sweden (?)

If you want to succeed you need to go huge in scale. Im running 8 bots running 6-8 hours a day and by my calculations I can make about 700-800 Dollars a month If i sell to my on-demand guy with a good price. And I know I wont be able to sell everything to him so maybe 400k (or more) leftovers to the Chinese for a terrible price. So I may end up making 500 Dollars a month.
So you can do the math from there. SoR is also risky because when you get baned you are pretty much ****ed, as they will ask for proof of ownership. With a legit account you're pretty much able to be banned twice. So i would advise you do buy the game legit.

You will also either need one beast computer, or several, to be able to run enough bots to make the income you need.
And then there are expenses. If you're using HB its going to be expensive to start up for sure. If you're not going to bot 24/7 I would advise you to use 2 accounts per HB session. So 12 hours on one and 12 hours on the other one with same HB session.
So theoretically yes, it is possible. But trust me, waking up every morning wondering if all your accounts are banned or not isn't cool

    Good luck, tho!

Hmm lets see, btw is that 500$ profit after gametime for all accounts?

    500 $ = 3 515kr
my rent is 4095kr, so its pretty much my rent, but i also live with my girlfriend which has a steady income.
Would it be possible to expand from having a computer able to run lets say only two bots?
I mean atm every $ is a + for me, so maybe i can start super small scale and progress to a bigger scale?

I have botted alot in my 7 or so years of playing wow from Glider to free bots and Pirox and so on, so the setup shouldn't be any problem but i have never done it to make a profit, only for personal gain in the game.

And about SoR, is it better to just start from scratch then with something like battlechest+Cata+MoP which is a total of 79,97€ in the Blizzard store atm.

Of course you can start small. That is up to you.
Also never buy gametime or games from blizzard store. Its so expensive compared to other sites. Personally I buy everything from G2PLAY.NET - BE SMART, PAY LESS :: World of Warcraft EU ($529.52 for 8 accounts) You can find cheaper sites, but this is super fast and with every purchase you gain a bonus to make your next purchase cheaper. Many people are also selling what you need here on the forums, just go look around

The 500 Dollars are before gametime has been bought. But since I don't buy the 60 GTC its not really that much. Lately I have been lucky and no RaFs have been removed so its only about 16 Dollars for all my 8 accounts a month.

Making a living from it is not wise to do as profit/income can be so unstable, such as your accounts getting banned.

When dealing with buyers in Europe, usually doing the trade via guild bank is 99% safe. I have done hundreds of GB trades and no bans yet.
But when dealing with Chinese buyers you need a trading account. In my opinion the ban rate is just too high so id rather invest in a vanilla account.

In experience deleting the char you did the trade with immediately after the trade does somewhat decrease the chance of a ban it seems. My first trades, when i was inexperienced, I didn't delete the chars and the account got banned within 24 hours. When I started deleting, the account could sometimes staye until the free month expired (unless I traded hundreds of thousands of gold)

Also, when buying the trading account, don't forget to do it by RaFing it, so one of your boters get a free month xD

Could you elaborate a bit more how trading with a vanilla account works? Do you run your bots on the same IP, hwid or using vmware-vpn? Why is trading with chinese risky? Cause they don't use guild banks?

Trading with the Chinese is risky because they are most likely flagged. This is most likely because they are dealing so much gold and/or they are playing on a Chinese IP.
You CAN trade gold through GB with the Chinese but I wouldn't recommend it because of the flag. If the wrong GM is sent to check on it, he might decide to check all the accounts involved and end up banning the farmer, the seller and the buyer.

Me personally has never used any VPN. All my bots run from the same computer with no HWID manipulation what so ever. been selling gold for more than a year now, and only been banned 4 times so far.

4 times is a lot is that a combo of being banned for botting+selling gold or is all 4 of those bans just for selling gold. also when you got banned was it on a lvl 1 mule account or on a main/farmer
