It seems to me Jadd has lived his life like a candle in the wind.
If you bought a copy of GW2, used it and didn't like it or it didn't work properly on your PC, your not going to get a refund. If you never used it then there's a high chance that you will. Personally I never used WoWPlus (or any hacks tbh) but considering the effort that Jadd put into it as well as the continued community support I would be disgusted to see customers that have used it for a considerate amount of time ask for a refund. He provided the product for you, if you use it then your not entitled to a refund. The consumer is not always right, too many people take that for granted and get away with shit and cause loss towards businesses. Like nerfme said, it's a dick move. Your not just getting your money back your screwing someone over who clearly did nothing to you. Your lucky that Jadd is humble enough to refund subscriptions.
I remember learning about Jadd and WoWPlus after his quite hilarious move where he went around wiping all the main cities on different servers. I personally never used it, but did a lot of research on it, and I don't see why people attack him. He made a great program, and I myself would of bought it, but I didn't have the money for multiple accounts (Don't feel like risking it.) My biggest question is, he always was sure to say that "It could be taken down at any time," and when it gets taken down due to him being sued, everyone acts like 1) They weren't warned in any way that it could happen 2) That it is his fault. Of course everyone should of known that it was going to happen sometime, that is just part of getting the subscription. I'm just happy the Jadd isn't in anymore legal trouble.
Sad, that this has come to an end.
Used it since good old sn0wball...![]()
