thats my pc specs and as you can see it should easily be able to play more than one session of wow at a time for multiboxing.

On windows 7 it was fine... only windows 8.

So when i play one session completely fine over 90fps easily, when i load the second session its abit of hit and miss, it can be fine at one point but at another time i could suddenly gets 5fps and lags my whole pc, i tried to load a 3rd one up out of interest and brought it down to 1 fps...

    any ideas guys?

windows 8 and more than one session of wow

Windows 8 isn't supported yet, Blizzard would need to make a new built of WoW that handles Windows 8 properly. For the time being, you should go back to 7 and watch future patch notes for Windows 8 support.

^ thats some utter bull shit you talking, every window that comes in market has all supported functions for its previous versions, you can even run 3.1 DoS on this windows, as far as the game is concern it has nothing to do with your win8 system.

throw some more info on my question I might be able to help you out.

1 - have you downloaded the latest GPU / ini chipset drivers?
2 - sometimes your page memory gets curropted and it doesnt load your programs properly, what you have to do when you having low fps just press Window button on ur keyboard you will come to your desktop go to your task manager and see if its using all ur resources or just few.
a ) coming to desktop refreshes ur page memory by default, just open the game again and I am sure it will run on ur desired fps i.e. above 90.
3 - have you upgraded ur BIOS yet? if not than give it a try. it sometimes colide with ur drivers and dont let them work.

thankyou for your reply, i did download an update for my bios but when i clicked set up on it it said its installed drivers for my chipset... i dont know if the download on the website is incorrect....

also it started working fine with 2 wow's up and running over 130fps on each one and now when i open a 3rd it goes bk down to 4fps... now when i try 2 wows again it goes down to 40fps ...

    wow1: cpu 2.6(avg)% memory 1159.8mb disk 0.1mbps
    wow2: cpu 2.6(avg)% memory 812.6mb disk 0.1mbps
    wow3: cpu 2.6(avg)% memory 834.6mb disk 0.1mbps

there is also another programme running
system: cpu 25(avg)% memory 0.1mb disk 25mbps (average)
