I recently bought gold 20k worth over 2k weeks and i just got a email from blizzard stating..

I'd say just lay low and don't buy any gold for awhile better safe then sorry, the link is legit so a scam would be pointless but I could be wrong

I have got the same email after logging in from a different IP then I normally would. I got the email to reset my pw etc etc and then this one not too long after. Its kind of a generic email they send out if there's been a security issue on your account recently as well.

got that email too when i hacked some accounts and transfered gold trough mule accounts.

What I would like to know is if you used the ah to buy gold or was it a face to face trade?

I've only used the AH method in the last 2 years and would stay away from trades.
