Gold Guides, do they actually work?

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes..

I've never had a shortage for gold but I've still been wondering if the so called "amazing gold guides" actually work. Considered buying one just to see if it's legit but meh, cba spending IRL cash just to get scammed if it's just a load of crap... Which is why I'm comming here, thought that mabye someone on Ownedcore have ever bought any of those guides and can shed some light on the matter at hand..

So do they work at all or is it just a scam like Icematikx "gold dupe" ?

They are not scams but they are not useful to you unless you are a complete moron.

They basically tell you to list your stuff on weekdays because you will have less competition and tell you to buy low and sell high.

Generally its all info on the auction house, that if you already make gold you would know, like buy low, sell high. Or something like scan the AH every day and make auctioneer filters to check for stuff that vendors higher than it is posted for...
