How to secure some1 else's account?

Hi. I am kind of new to this forum so i dont have any permission to post this in a more appropiate section but wellwell...

Recently i got scammed for 130k by a guy. He was going to pay back, but with a spectral tiger, and thereby he gave me the password to one of his valuable accounts to hold onto meanwhile.

Now the thing is that he've forgot about giving the password to that account to me, and this is my chance for revenge.

How am i able to secure the account so he cant get it back? I have the password, email and full name, and i have access to the battlenet page that has additional information.
Is there any way to make justice?

If not, what are the things i can do with it? it has no gold, but has a lot of credit card info stored but i have to enter the CCV code to buy anything.

    thanks!

Because he definitely can't call billing and have them revert to the old e-mail?

As long as he entered the real details of himself (name and birthday etc. mainly) he can get it back whenever he wants by scanning his ID and sending it to blizzard.

My advice would be logging on the account often and to afk around in OG or something so you get to include your IP in to his typical log in pattern. After you have been donig it for a while (~month or so?) just sell/delete/give away everything. Then change the password and/or add an authenticator.

The owner will report it as "being hacked" and Blizzard will see that the wipe you made came from an IP included in the log in pattern. They'll just say that they can do nothing since it was made by the account owner himself and, here's the cathc, they might think that the owner is trying to use the restore service to generate extra gold or duplicate items. And this is something Blizzard really, really despises.

So yeah, there's something you can do. But not much.

Say you had a RAT and you didn't give him the gold, and you've been unable to find time to make the ticket?

    Sounds like good idea.
Tho you have to know the secret question and access to the email to add an authenticator. Is there no way to change that? and also, his account wasnt created with his name.

well if the account wasn't created by him then it makes it very difficult for him to get it back, just change the password/info and he has no better claim to it than you do.

If he scammed you than the account is probably scammed as well. If you want to piss him off put an authenticator on the account and change all the info. He will have to call blizzard and upon further investigation will probably tell him to send in ID, which is where he will hang up and the account will remain locked

If you really must rip him off, buy new game CD keys, create a new account using his name and detail, use gift card (MC or Visa logo type), register it online using his name to pay for character transfer from old account to new account. Since the name of both account and the credit card matches, Blizz will likely assume it's all done legit and the original owner won't have the information on your new account (CD key or secret question/answer) it will be next to impossible to get his character back.

Won't be cheap (4 expansions + cost of transfer) but I never had problem keeping the account I bought from PA site. I've had people try to file for account recovery but all they got back were empty account with no game time (a loss of $15 or so there by the scammer trying to take account back) on it and once got threat from someone after his failed attempt. Never lost the characters at all.
