A guy offered me +170 mounts (include AQ legendary mount) for 210k, is that possible?

Hello everybody..

Earlier today in our server i saw a guy who was spamming to sell u +170 mounts that include super rare mounts such as (AQ legendary mount/TK Mount/ZG Tiger/Spectral Tiger/ and many rare mounts that was removed from the game and rare drops), and i was curious how the hell he can do such a thing, and when i asked him..
He told me that i have to creat a new Trial Account with the same Last Name as my Orginal Account last name, and then he have an exploit to change his account Last Name to match it to my trial account Last Name (which it's the same last name as my main account last name), and then he will creat a new character lvl 10 in his account, the account that include the +170 mounts, then he will transfer this lvl 10 char to my trial account, after that i can transfer this character to my main account, and i will recieve all the 170 mounts in my main account!

and i asked him why i would creat a new trial account while u can directly transfer it to my main account, then he said it's for your main account security!



So, my question is..

is that possible?

From what i have read, it was but not anymore unless he gives you the actual character. They fixed it so the level 10 has nothing on transfer

Ok what about the last name exploit?

because i'm really willing to buy an old account with ALOT of rare mounts that is not obtainalbe anymore.. so i can transfer it to my orignal account!

is it possible?

The exploit that transfered mounts to your account, through a lvl 10 or anything of the sort has been fixed. No mounts will transfer with the toon making this guy a scammer. Just ignore him and move on

No its been hotfixed. Once you trade a character off an account you lose all mounts

There's also a chance that accounts that had mount transferred/copied over before the fix would get rolled back. If you paid for it, be sure you can get money back when Blizz rolls back.

no i didn't pay anything ..

but i'm planning to buy an old friend account with ZG Tiger mount.. and i will change his Last Name to match it to my battle.net account Last Name then i merge his account to my Battle.net

Do you think i will be able to use the mounts in HIS account on my Main Account? because both acc's will be in same Battle.net

so are they now keeping track of the character that originally learned the mount? so if i transferred my main off my account would my entire account lose the mounts or would my main? how do you guys know that this was hotfixed?

furthermore, this guy sounds like a scammer since he cant directly transfer a toon to an account with your last name on it. you could never do that, even before the said hotfixed that changed the lvl 10 ability to carry mounts over. he would have to transfer a toon onto a second account, THEN have the name changed to your name on that account, and then have it transferred to your account.
