Icematikx wow dupe is a scam don't buy it !

I bought a Dupe guide from Icematikx which is just common sense, and I'm not getting my money back. I hope something bad happens to his money or WoW accounts.

The guide he gives you is the simple silver to gold script that just changes the ingame appearance of your gold. Total scammer. Pretty surprised that this guy is blatantly scamming his audience when he actually has a decent subscriber base. Will be interesting to see if Athene will call him out.

considering Athene scammed his fanbase into sending him gold and stuff when he was "hacked" (he wasnt hacked) i think hes more likely to congratulate him than "call him out"

Needless to say (because you appear to know a lot about the format, "its a PDF file.", I probably don't have to remind you of this, but the PDF format is made to allow JavaScript code to be ran in it. This can be code that does not obviously appear malicious, but in fact is, without scanners picking up on it.

An example that springs to mind, is resource exhaustion attacks, or password manager farming, which is quite doable if you are using a browser utilizing the keyring implementation of password managers.

But then again its just a PDF file.... Perhaps you should just go ahead and run it. Its not like the dude distributing it is trying to obviously scam you, to the point where we can in fact call him out for stealing the material in the first place,..... or what? Yep. Seems legit. Run/Open with no concern. Enjoy life inside the bubble of "I can not be the victim of an attacked unless I download trojan_virus_spyware.exe"
