Blizzard has so many lawyers working for them they know what they're doing. It's pointless to check, why would Blizzard do something that could potentially have millions of users sueing them?Originally Posted by fptackle

It doesn't matter what laws are in place if you accept the agreement that allows them too do it...
I have never been banned and i have hacks on my harddrive. I dont think blizz is doing anything illegal.
Even if they are scanning your hard drive users that dont use/download hacks ave nothing to worry about. People need to stop bitching about how evil warden is. Memory editing is a skill, those with more skill can bypass warden and have the right to hack. dont cry because you are incompetent.
Down with warden!
Doe's blizzard have any permission to scan other people's comp's just like that with warden.
I mean it can't be legalI hate Warden. -.-
Amrican , what did you not get about that? It's perfectly legal. YOU , YOU GAVE blizzard the permission too scan your computer with warden when you hit accept on the Terms of Service.

It's interesting. I have WoW installed on the same hard drive as my private server, and it's not that far down, but I have the first few folders I have the private server in encrypted, and it's been there for quite a few months. I wonder if encrypting the folders helps?
