Recalling account?

Ive recently sold my account to vbarrack and its been around 6-7 months and i occasionally check it to see if they sell it which they havent. I was just wondering if its illegal if i recall an account i sold for $89?

From what i've read, No. because you legally diddnt have the right to sell the account in the first place. and they'd have a hell of a time proving anything. what are they going to do, tell blizzard? lol.

but get more informed opinions, i dont have alot of expertiese in this area.

nothing illegal about it ;-) I've actually done it myself with vbarrack specifically..

Granted when I did it was right around Wrath launch before such things were well known..

These days they probably asked for a scan of your ID didn't they..

Probably also screenshotted any & all conversation & dealings you had..

Which they will use to make recovery difficult for you..

The account is blizzard's property, so legally you can't sell it anyways, so I doubt you'd get into any legal trouble for recalling it.

True, but he practically stole real money from those people , i find it normal that authorites intervene.

But still you have a point there, one could sell 2 accounts, receive money , get accounts, but instead say that they hadn't got the accounts,
and somehow leaving no trace that they have access to accounts.

Yes, all the tickets they have sent to recover the account will be shown in the support ticket at the battle.net account. You cannot remove the history of the tickets, that will be the evidence when the judge determine the case. Also, we are not going to buy such accounts if we have figured there is bad record and it is to determine if the account is safe or not.
