    Just open the WoW Launcher and the new patch will be pre-downloaded (6 GB size). It won't be applied until the release day though (which is yet to be determined).

    The 25 september release date is for MoP itself. This is the 5.0.4 pre-patch, and its release date is still unknown.

    Blizzard has tended to do a pattern of a month before release of their expansion for the big patch.
    I'd bet money it'll be August 28th, or Sept. 4th by the latest.
