Level 60 twinking, is it still active? And more importantly, fun?

Is lvl 60 twinking active? I mean the accounts with no BC Wrath or Cata and just original wow with decked out 60s. Does anyone do it anymore? Is it fun? Or is 19 and 70 the most active twink brackets now a days?

I have a 19 a 60 and a 70 twink, 60's are currently dead atm, the queue doesn't pop cept maybe when coordinated by a few players who basically only do it with the people they want to play. The bracket is pretty imbalanced, dk's with 20k health are pretty much unkillable and most dps classes kill each other within a few seconds. I have a hunter that I have a ton of fun with back when the queues were popping but I wouldn't spend your time making a 60 if I were you because you prob will never do anything beside dual outside org with it. 70's are the way to go, some classes are still better than others but the community is huge and it is overall just better.

Hunter Mage Dk Rouge are the main classes right now at 70, right?

mage and rogue are the most op, shamans have some pretty insane healing. Most other classes are fairly balanced, only class I wouldn't recommend would be a warlock. I have a 74 rogue and love it, if you go rogue though you have to consider whether you want to go 70 and go for glaives and be able to do arena's or bump up to 74 and get niff's and have the advantage of higher dps and ability to see lower level stealth and the other benefits of being higher level

well actually, dk niffle is the best. I had one at 72 and still arenaed but the 70 who was on my team left so I was screwed...
