SOR Question.. and need help

I found someone to do SOR with.. so I can get the mount.. the player plays on another server in which I dont have any toons on..

My question is..


I play on Server A
He plays on Server B

If he makes a level 1 on Server A.
I make a level 1 on Server B

He boosts his toon on Server A 1-80 ( free from SOR, is that correct?)
then transfers it to Server B with (5-20k gold) is he allowed to do that?

or is that not how the thing works?

You get 1 free character boost and free server/faction change?

Well yes you can, I did like this :
1. I played on server A
2. My friend played server B
3. Made a char on server A
4. Clicked boost and transfer & logged onto my char fast
5. traded 20k with character on Server A
6. 1 Hour later the char were moved to server B without any problems
