At the time of writing this, I have not had time removed on one of my two accounts.

I bought a year for both of them on the same day at the same time. The only difference is one was signed up for the annual pass, and the other wasn't.

The one that is on the annual pass lost it. I have a feeling that's the trigger for now. Considering how easy it is to check and how much time they have, they could probably eventually revoke all RAF times regardless of whether they hold the annual pass or not, but it seems like they are focusing on the annual pass holders since it's a contract and they also give out a free copy of Diablo 3.

It all balances out for me in the end as long as they don't revoke the time on my account without the annual pass. Luckily, I wasn't able to sign up for it so I didn't, but I'm holding my breath because they may revoke it any day now.

I may be incorrect, but it seems like it's the most plausible.

Why're blizzard being so tightfisted? They're getting the same money as if you legitly recruited 12 people that both purchased the game and 1 month of gametime, so why don't they just stop being faggish about it?
It's a disgrace that a company should put a monetary requirement on beta selection at all; After all... Who wants to sign a contract to play a buggy version of a game when they could spend $50 at the end of beta to get the less glitchy one?
