Question about GM Island

I quit WoW the day 4.2 came out and just started up about 3 days ago, anyways my old toon I've had on GM Island is still there and now I've noticed when walking around randomly a message will pop up saying "You have entered area trigger 1" or "You have entered area trigger 2". I was curious if anyone knew what this meant as it never did this pre-4.2, or at least not that I know

Forgot to add that the message pops up in the same areas so I wouldn't say it's so random.

Recently visited GM Island as well and received this message. It may be an auto-trigger to let the GMs know someone has been there. No proof though. Hopefully we won't get auto-banned for visiting GM Island

Me and my 2 friends were there today we were getting this same trigger too. Then suddenly all of us got freezed and banned.

That's odd, I have had my toon there for months and even after logging in multiple times on him in the past few days triggering them I have not been banned/warned or any sort of action to my account.
