Frostmourne Spam...

Hello all,
It seems that Jadd utilized an exploit and covered Orgrimmar with Frostmournes. First off, thanks for the smiles
I am just curious as to how he did this. I'm not asking for the codes or the know-how, I'm just curious as to what means were utilized..you know, for curiosity sake.
I first heard about it on the WoW forums
I did some searching and it seems that Jadd did some bragging over at MMO-Champion, but they deleted his post. So I searched for Jadd here at OwnedCore and found he posted some screenshots (Screenshot Thread) . A poster above him mentioned Culino did this on PTR, but I could not find any relavant posts on Culino's profile.

Well, apparently, there was a spell in ICC, that used to spawn Frostmourne(s).
Now, somehow, Jadd or anyone else who found this, found a spell id of that spell and found out that it can be used anywhere by anyone. And there we go.
I heard it has been fixed today, this is all I know.

Interesting. I'm assuming something similar to the HiddenSpell() stuff I've read about?

Aww its been fixed? It wouldnt be that hard to figure out if it wasn't fixed, just go into ICC and use the combat logs to find which spell it is that the npcs cast, then you can look up the spell and get the ID and use the pick up spell script and place it on your bar. Would be very fun if not fixed x.x
