Any tips to have your Guild Renamed ?

Hey there

We are looking for a way to have our guild renamed, and after a few trys, explainig honnestly the situation to a GM, we found out theres nothing to get this way.

Looks like things got more complicated since the rumor of a "paying Rename" ...

So, anyone ever managed to have his guild renamed ? any hints to share ?

AFAIK you'll have to reform the guild if you want a new name. If a GM already told you it's not possible, then it isn't. The only way to get a name chance, again AFAIK, is to have an inappropriate guild name.

make up a long complicated story about how your guild name is really a play on some dirty topic.

if you already made tickets about this, then the gm will see those tickets and subsequently reject your request (unless they were really lazy that day).

I think renaming your guild is quite hard... Paragon re-created their guild, now named DREAM Paragon just two days ago.
And if I know those guys right, they don't easily give up...

I got my guild renamed by telling the GM that I had got alot of complaints from other players saying they were offended by the name.

then sold it for 70k gold.

I think you can still get it changed, if not you'll probably get something along the lines of... "You must wait for the new guild name change to be released." :P
