Buying gold via AH?

Alright, so I've been gone from WoW for almost a year now and I am just now getting back into things. I was planning on buying some extra gold to get me going through the levels, and I just wanted to know how safe the AH buyout method is nowadays? I plan on using GameUSD, but for some reason I can't do it face to face like I usually do. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Probably not as safe as face to face because Blizzard can track it, but I don't know much about buying gold. Either way I wouldn't buy gold that way.

Find a gold selling website that uses the guild bank method, this has been thought as the safest possible way to transfer gold. Basically what happens is they invite you to one of their bank guilds, set you to a certain rank so you can withdraw the amount of gold you paid for from their guild bank. It doesn't tie you with any of their selling accounts so it's harder for blizzard to accuse you of gold buying.

I prefer the delivery by AH method myself, haven't had any problems yet with GameUSD with smaller gold amounts. I'm about to buy about 10000 more gold from them.
