No not entirely, the absolute best way is if to a private buyer... investigate them further than msn chat. call them. have them email you from the paypal email stating what they are doing without stating that it is wow gold.- if they dispute you have a tiny bit of leverage to forward the email to paypal.
have i tried this? yes, it only popped up for me once where it came in handy.
Think before you post. You can only get smarter by playing a smarter opponent.
Well use stealth PP accounts and as soon as you receive money withdraw it and forget about that PP account.
well i did sell 400k gold , got paid , and once i had the money in my paypal account i sent it to my credit card , but next day he started the dispute and once the dispute was closed by paypal (all i had was the msn conversation) the status was "you have uploaded shipping information" yet my paypal account was still negative , i do have the money in my wallet now , but with a negative balance on the paypal account i kinda by logic have to put it back, but i will not until i see the fbi at my doorstep. Also i am planing to not do anything and just wait it out , what do you guys think ? (I don't live in the USA)
so what i want is a way to protect myself against future scammers , yes having them email or talking on the phone sound like good ideas , but even if i say record the conversation it still is no proof that he is the guy/or its the actual number etc, same way as he cant actually prove it wasn't him who did the transaction
What i was thinking and i don't know if it works is make 2 paypal accounts , get paid on one , and send all money to the other account.Once that is done , i delete the first account and just after that give the buyer the gold. What i don't know is does this work , does paypal still track say the dispute on the money to the other account if the first one is closed.
there is almost always a way to dispute on paypal, EXCEPT if they send the payment AS A GIFT. this leaves them almost no room to get refunded, especially because, well, its a GIFT.
Don't worry about police companies like that ( gold seller/buyer ) work in a very gray area. So no police will ever come. But next time use info that are not real ( think of some name, surname.... ).
As i said use stealth PP account. If you have a way go obtain VCC that accept withdraws to it then you can simply make new PP account for each transaction, then forget about that account.
That wont work, they will just link it. Also never use same IP, go to some caffee, hotspot...
so the only way to protect against paypal unauthorized payment dispute or chargebacks or any other way is to get the "payment" as a gift
was thinking is there a way to use the buyers phone number used in the paypal account registration as proof for something ,
as in call him to guarantee he is indeed the owner of the paypal account and that he did authorize the transaction and will not do anything in the future to try a chanrgeback of the money he sent ?
i remember a friend of mine that bought gold from some goldsellers and they called him

also if i were to sell gold do i need to make a separate account and send the gold there from my main account ?
since i did give 400k gold from my main account at 1 time and it wasn't banned or anything should i be worried ?
or should i give out gold in small amounts ?
