Gliding account transfer?

Well I actually have a few questions, but my main one is: can you transfer a char you glided on, to your main account without worry of a ban on both? I have an extra account I don't really use so I was thinking of gliding on it only. I wanted to level 1 or 2 chars to 60 at least and transfer to my main account. After I transfer and if the gliding account gets banned, would they trace the transferred chars and ban that account too?

Also I heard that blizzard bans by IP. But I used to glide for my friend, and I glided on my main account as well. My friend got banned but I didn't. Even though I logged onto his account many times. But does anyone know for sure?

And if I run glider on a computer I play my main account on, is there any risk of getting banned on both accounts? I wouldn't be running glider at the same time, but while I'm not playing, glider would be running on the glider account.
