Gold making in Vanilla WoW?

Hi guys.

Has anyone played in vanilla WoW? I've only played BC/WOTLK/CATA. I'm playing on a vanilla WoW private server right now and I was wondering what the best gold making methods were back in the vanilla days. Can someone help me out?

the pets that you can find are worth more than anything else you will find in Vanilla. I remember farming those little dragons and selling them for over 5k gold
