3.3.5a help

hi, this is my first post on Mmowned, i need a solution to my problem,

i instaled Wow from a demo disc, that installed wow at 2.0.3 version i think,

so, when the game got installed, i let the game patch from the launcher, that installed the 3.0.1 version, i patched until 3.3.5a (12340), but when i enter to a p server , the game says this:



i have the enUs 3.3.5a client,

i played with this client in some servers that let you choose expansion, so i choose "burning crusade" and i can play, but cant enter to the wotlk places, if i choose "wrath of lich king", shows that error

someone can help me?

This goes in the emulation help section.

Anyway. You should have just used the old installwow.exe that's been floating around. Here's a link: clicky.
To make sure everything actually works out, you should just reinstall WoW with that installer, making sure to select WOTLK when given the opportunity.


Also, for future reference, 3.3.5a doesn't mean you have WOTLK installed, it just means you're on the last WOTLK patch. (In retail, for instance, you can play on patch 4.1 without cataclysm installed.)

there are another solution?, my internet is too slow to download it now, i have a friend that have installed WOTLK from that instaler, he can help me for this?

EDIT: Also i have installed a 2.4.3 client, i installed it from that disc, again, and patched to 2.4.3, that will help me to download less if i install from this client, or the only solution is installing from that downloader?

No, just use the downloader.
it's MUCH cleaner to do a fresh install with it than to try to pile expansions on top of your client.
