Yeah , i just tried using the e-mail scam and people still fall for it , i managed to get this guy's email , account name , full name , password and secret answer. I really want the char , what should i do? If any1 of you are experienced , please tell me
Thanks. This guy's char is xferable too... so i was planning to trnasfer but im scared he will report to blizzard and get a reversed transfer which happens if he claims that theres unauthorize acc transfer..Tell me what i should do , thanks!

Make an account with the same last name and transfer it to the new account and change the realm while you are at it. (thats $10-20 for WoW, $25 transfer and $40 for TBC, but it sounds worth it)

If they report the transfer, blizzard will do a turnback and won't give back the money. Happened to my friend.

How much are transfers? £15 or something?
Well, Check out some gold sales sites. If he has more than £15 worth of gold, move the char, and move his gold to your character. Chances are, if Blizzard moves back the character, they won't take the gold from you. He'll have his char back, but you'll have his gold.
If Blizzard don't move the char back & change the accounts details within a week or two, chances are they won't do anything.

(I scammed an account, and 2 weeks on, some guy messaged me telling me to give him his account back. I told him that it was mine. He told a GM. GM said that it'd been too long and he was unable to do anything.)

I've had a lot of people try and re-take a scammed account from me. Heres a few suggestions.

Keep the name's the same. Dont change any details apart from the email. Say it's an ex-friend who got hold of the information when you were at a LAN party. That is if a GM contacts you or you get any mail. If they asked why you changed the mail tell them because you hadn't recieved any email on the original email for months and you were issued a closure so you had to do it as fast as possible.

I dont suggest transfering the character over untill the second week of having the account. Once it's been two weeks chances are they're not going to be able to take it back as they would have tried.

i just founbd out that the char was transferred off to another account , can i act as the "original" owner and report to blizzard that some1 hacked "my" account so they can do the reverse transfer?

So i was trying to transfer my char and buy TBC off their website using credit card with AMEX/VISA , but i got this error 202 problem and they told me to call blizzard , I called them and they tried helping me to pay with the CC but to no avail , they said that they are having a problem as well. I have tried using different computers with different IP but it seems like the problem lies in their website. Any1 else having this problem or have any solutions?
