    Warsong Gulch in 4.1

    In case you were wondering what blizzard have done to get rid of graveyard camping and making it a bitch to get back to the flag room.

    SO now you have to go through the tunnels everytime you ress in order to get to the flag room?

    Is there an immunity debuff on the GY? if not.. then well... have fun in WSG without being camped for 20 minutes straight. :/

    Yes.. I thought the same, how exactly does this protect people from being camped... blizzard has strange ideas sometimes.

    This has nothing to do with anti-camping, as this actually encourages camping. If you stand below the GY now, people that spawn can run away, soon their only way out will be into the opponents waiting for em down the gy. This change has been made for RBG's mainly, as when you run a 3-healing D most of the time the healers can run back in after spawning and keep the FC up in such a rotation, while soon you'll have to go thru the whole tunnel before actually reaching the FC again, which gives the O on other side an advantage.

    graveyard camping in bgs - Forums - World of Warcraft

    The days of graveyard camping in Warsong Gulch may be coming to an end soon, thanks to some new plans we have in store for the battleground in patch 4.1:

    We are moving the graveyards to their own terrain level, preventing camping by members of the opposing team.

    However, this will also serve another purpose; players will no longer be able to respawn and run straight back into their flag room. They will either have to drop down then run up the tunnel, or go around the top of the base. This adds around 20 seconds to the journey from the graveyard to the flag room.

    WoW, warsong was the best battleground why are they changing it, it was perfect the way it was
