    Afking - tldp

    So, I had the idea which did work untill I figured out there was two different types of /away

    Manual /away
    when the player purposefully types this in.

    Auto /away
    when the game prepares to kick you.

    My theory was that if I made a macro to PST someone who doesn't necessarily have to be online it would un-afk my character who was on the watch for TLDP...Well it worked. however the auto /away put you into a different set of requirements to become un-afk so thus when I afked to bed last night all I got was a login screen this morning, as the game had kicked me as per usual.

    So I'm looking for another way to satisfy the game in to not booting me without using a bot.

    any ideas?

    I was working on this a year ago....
    I think there a possibility with a loop :

    Code:
    /script for i=0,9999 do
      local temp = 0;
      if temp == 0 then cast YourSpell; temp=1; end;
      in 60 temp = 2;
      if temp==2
      then i=0; temp=0;
    end;
    Something like that...
    Not working, must have syntax errors but i think we can get something working using loops and in !

    Got :
    Code:
    /run CreateFrame"Frame":SetScript("OnUpdate",function(f,e)f.e=(f.e or 0)+e if f.e<300 then return end f.e=0 SendChatMessage("Test")end)
    To send a message in the chat every 300sec (5 minutes) but it doesn't prevent the auto afk thing.

    do you have one to recommend?

    Edit: it would be better if there was a windows command you could use.
