I haven't messed with wow-robot, but if it spams a channel in-game with site information, then yes, it's the same.

Not sure if it does that or not,i can confirm that i use wow robot though without any problem so far.Used arca too the past few days and evetything seems to be smooth,besides some minor bugs which are not related to this thread.Also no ban reports to the official wow robot forum so far.

I haven't messed with wow-robot, but if it spams a channel in-game with site information, then yes, it's the same.

I believe WoW-Robot uses a .xml file with the dig sites names in it somehow. Hopefully it wont get the ban hammer as well.

It looks like Blizzard is stepping up their levels of server-side detection, as opposed to client side (warden). The archa thing was detected and logged server side.

I bet anything public will be targeted soon.

I was skeptical about Rift, but I'm having a blast in it so far. We'll see how it turns out at 50, but it's sufficiently WoW-like to pull in a lot of people bored with WoW (personally I got bored w/ it since early WoTLK), but different enough that it feels shiny and new unlike the now 6 year old game that is WoW.

Yes every bot will be banned and the wow ecnonomy will be cleasned from them at last.

No it wont happen blizz just trying to show off with his power and trying to make you believe he can catch you. There are bots who are 100% passive avoids warden, and everything(e.g. no silly ingame scripts in chat).

Dude he was talking about being BANNED so how would he post on his main character if his account was banned?

And just to put it out there I know 3-4 people personally that were banned in this wave, so I'm sure the number of people total is very high.
