Exploration DC problem...

Hey guys.
I've been exploring in wow for quite some time now but a strange thing has started happening quite often lately. First on my druid, when I went under Thousand Needles. I was flying under it when all of a sudden I got DCed... "Well it happens sometimes" I said to myself and logged back in. When the loggin screen disappeared I saw the druid where I previously DCed, but it was just a flash and I DCed instantly again. This was happening for 30mins. Then I decided to go on my main char a do some BGs. After three hours I logged on to the druid and everything seemed fine but when I moved I got DCed again. SO I had to wait another 2-3 hours and then dismount to fall to the death floor. I waited to wednesday and tried again with my main, same thing!
Today, actually five minutes ago, I was trying to find a way out of Blackrock Cavers and after two hours of jumping around I actually found a way but as I jumped to the lava guess what happened? A FCUKING DC!!! That's what happened.

So my question is: did that happen to you as well? Any solution?

I got dced some times but mostly on purpose and after that i oftenly have hard times to reconnect but not that hard....

Where you using a flying mount when entering the lava/water? Since ive been having a smiliar problem with entering water with a slowfall effect/flying mount.

This is happend to me a ton during exploration, and exploration only. I told myself the same thing... but it kept happening.

Well with the druid I was in flight form... but with my main (rogue) I jumped into the lava not mounted with no slowfall effect... Well I'm "glad" I'm not alone in this In an instance it's bearable because it ports you to the start of the inst in a few minutes but it was just horrible below Thousand Needles... hours of waiting...

On the other subject... I found out that I'm able to jump over the lava and as long as I don't touch it I avoid being disconnected so expect another video soon .

Yes, this has been happening to all explorers.

It only seems to happen to me when I am in rock, lava, or water that I'm "not supposed to be in".

It started with patch 4.0.3a. I assume this is something Blizzard implemented to help combat the glitch/exploration community. I assume that Blizzard changed something in the code that makes you disconnect if you are moving around in rock, water or lava that you're "not supposed to be in". Reconnecting only puts you right back into that same location, so you D/C again.

TO HELP US FIGHT THIS....I've found that if you experience this on a flying mount, and you're not currently in water or lava... you can press your "dismount" button RIGHT as you log in. You will still D/C... but when you log in the next time you'll be dismounted, so you will fall to your death rather than D/Cing again.

Same here. Someone in shoutbawx said you could use XYZ with setclip or something like that on 999 and keep going forward when logging in, but I didnt try it (I just made a ticket and got moved within 30sec of creating the ticket )

Sorry, the 2-3 hour wait thing confused me... wasn't sure why you had to wait.
