Blizzard gone hypocritical

Blizzard has just banned a bunch of druids for releasing their opinions on the feral druid pvp nerfs!

Here is the post of the druids that got banned.

They only have 2 days left to play WoW for telling blizzard to look at the nerfs and reconsider them.Just fail on Blizzards part(note: I am not any one of these druids, my friend is one of them.)

How do you know most of them got banned if you only know one of them? You can't just assume things your friend was probably trolling or starting a fight. Also this thread is one pile of BS .

1. You don't get banned in game for anything you do on forums UNLESS you are openly admitting to botting etc even then they have to check the logs and verify it. kthx

2. Blizzard don't email you saying that you only have x amount of days left before you are banned they just do it.

1) Not "all", not "most": only your friend was banned, you have no idea if anyone else was.
2) This was only a forum ban. They do not in-game ban for forum infractions.
3) Considering your other exaggerations in your post, I imagine this wasn't a ban but a suspension. If it was a ban, then it likely wasn't his first infraction.
4) That thread isn't even locked. If Blizzard was trying to "silence the people", they'd at LEAST lock the thread, if not flat out delete it.
5) Despite the whinings of people like yourself and your "friend", Blizzard does not ban people for "speaking their opinion". They suspend / ban for breaking the forum CoC -- i.e., excessive language, threats, childishness, and general trolling. When someone is actioned for a post the post is generally removed, so the post that caused your "friend" to receive an infraction most likely isn't even there anymore.

So don't try to make it look like someone calmly and rationally voiced their discontent and mean old Blizzard silenced them.

I got banned once for "warez" after saying Stage6 ( DIVX Streaming website like youtube but divx. ) had closed down. Perma forum banned and never had I had any of the mails sent to them about that specific matter have been replied to. Blizzard does some shady shit. Megatf was banned too back when megatf and plops/pewpewlazers and all the good hunters that had that 2/4/2 ( Arena representation in the top brackets ) in their signatures before being hit by a nerf, kind of like what they're doing to druids. They won't ban everyone, but a few unlucky ones will. They'll let you pay that 15$ a month but won't let you voice your opinion as it may interfere with what they're "evolving" the game into.

TBH I disagree with this thread.

I've seen many cases of "QQ Blizzard banned me from the forums for voicing my opinion etc". But honestly if you go look at those posts and then go read Blizzard's forum rules and guidelines, the posted DID overstep their boundaries and DID deserve to be banned according to Blizzard's standards. Their standards in some cases might be a bit unreasonable but keep in mind they are just doing what they are told and it makes their job easier if everyone follows the rules.

Same as on these forums here. It is a forum member's privileged to view MMOwned forums, NOT a right. Same goes for World of Warcraft forums.

Tell your friend to learn to read the rules and he wouldn't have gotten banned. Parog your ban is arguable but I agree with you more than Blizz.

And you are pulling this information out of who's ass? They only ban you from the FORUMS if you break the t&c they let you voice your opinion whenever you want as long as it breaks no rules. Proof: Go look at all of today's blue posts, most of them are criticizing something about the game yet they weren't banned. Kthx try backing yourself up before you make stuff up next time.

Actually ive received several 72hr forum vacations from big blue. They always cite the guideline stating they can basically ban you for anything they feel like they don't agree with.
