Got banned for something I didnt do

Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Abuse of the Economy

This account was closed because one or more characters were identified exchanging, or contributing to the exchange of, in-game property (items or gold) for "real-world" currency. This exchange process negatively impacts the World of Warcraft game environment by detracting from the value of the in-game economy.
I got an email from blizzard saying this after attempting to login to my account and having the "account closed" message pop up. I know that I wasn't intentionally selling/supplying someone with items to sell. The only thing I've done is sold herbs to many different players in bulk but I don't see how blizzard could possibly label me as some sort of supplier. I emailed Blizz and am currently awaiting a response. If emailing them doesn't work is it possible for me to call and try to get a second chance?

That's what I figured but how can I prove that?

I'm pretty sure Blizzard can do what they want. I'm no lawyer, but I do know that this says blizzard can do what they want to your account.

BLIZZARD MAY SUSPEND, TERMINATE, MODIFY, OR DELETE ANY BNET ACCOUNT OR WORLD OF WARCRAFT ACCOUNT AT ANY TIME FOR ANY REASON OR FOR NO REASON, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU. For purposes of explanation and not limitation, most account suspensions, terminations and/or deletions are the result of violations of this Terms of Use or the EULA.

Blizzard Entertainment: World of Warcraft Terms of Use
Although this is mostly for legal purposes, Blizzard will unban you for most likely because they want that 15 dolla a month! but legally they can ban you for this.

What Thadd said, they can ban you at any time even if there is no reason. I am sure that they will unban you, but if they won't through email, I suggest calling them up and talking to them directly to try and explain your situation.

Do not do this. There is no one at Blizzard that will pick up a phone that can help you with account actions. Don't insist that you are "a paying customer who demands service" and try to berate a billing or tech support rep into helping you with a ban. They can't. Plain and simple. They can't forward you to someone who can. Their boss can't. All you will end up doing is wasting a LOT of your time.

In the e-mail they sent you telling you about the ban, they included an e-mail address at which you can contest bans -- e-mail them there. I'm not sure but I think it's [email protected]. It may take some time but those are the only people who can overturn your ban.

Thanks for the replies everyone, does Blizzard respond to e-mails on weekends? I don't want to keep watching for a response if they don't do anything during the weekend.

They might have banned you for the wrong reason. I got my account banned last week, and they said it was for abuse of the economy. They later said it was for hacking. I had been teleport hacking and botting at the time I got the ban.
