People selling valor point pieces

I recently noticed people offering in trade to sell valor point pieces.

I contacted one of them on my alt, and asked what he was selling.
To which he replied tell me which piece you need and i sell it to you.

So my question, can you actually sell the Valor point gear pieces now?

And if so is there any trick behind it or do they just remain bind on equipped as long as you don't equip them?

the boots purchased with valor points are BoE. every other piece is BoP, so he was trying to sell the boots. and instead of buying one randomly and AH'ng it, it would be more effective to try and sell them all, then buy the one someone wants

Ah i see, so a slight mess up by Blizzard.
If you would basically just buy them immediately from the person selling them.
Would they still have their trade back for VP option?

No they lose the trade back option on trade on mail on enchant etc.

I don't think it's a mess up, I think Blizz did this one on purpose. This gives people who have all the gear they need from valor points another way to use them - to make gold.
