Warlock PvE Rotations (Affliction and Destruction)

Alright guys, I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this type of post, but here goes.

I play a warlock, but was unsure about what rotation would be effective to increase my DPS output with affliction and Destruction. After testing for awhile, I found it to be this.
    Destruction:
    1. I find it best to START off with soul fire, for the haste buff.
    2. Immolate
    3. Chaos bolt
    4. Conflagrate
    5. Incinerate until conflagrate again.
    6. Conflagrate
    7. Soul fire again for haste buff.
    Repeat.
If you feel it necessary, you can put on curse of elements right AFTER the first soul fire, but it is up to you.
    Affliction:
    1. Corruption/Soulfire. It depends on whether or not you specced in improve soulfire.
    2. Agony
    3. Unstable affliction
    4. Haunt.
    5. Use shadow bolt as your buffer spell.
    6. Reapply your dots.
    7. Repeat until the execution phase (Boss/mob is 25%)
8.You will replace step 5 with Drain Soul, since this will do 20k+ crits. Use Drain soul AFTER you apply your dots.
And that's it. If you are going to post, please do not post saying "LOL Everyone knows this, why did you post it?" or some nonsense like that. I felt this was necessary to help others. Thank you

Very nice guide, only thing I wonder is why do you Chaos Bolt before the spell haste from conflag? Also after that Im guessing you dont use Chaos Bolt after the initial? Or just didnt feel it was needed? (again, before or after conflag? lol)

*Just wondering cuz im affl for ever so Im just testing waters with Destro (wannabe mage spec to me ^.^)

Well you see, you want to use the buff from conflag for incinerate. Using chaos bolt and conflag right after it= Great burst. Thanks for asking, now you know :P

According to elitistjerks, you must also cast corruption and bane of agony for optimal DPS, and that's where it fudges everything up.

I Dont follow elitist jerks. I felt like posting a rotation that seemed to work that was simple yet efficient

    Destro

    Glyphs

    Prime

    Glyph of Immolate
    Glyph of Conflagrate
    Glyph of Incinerate

    Major

    Glyph of Life Tap
    Glyph of Soul Link
    Glyph of Fear

    Curse of the Elements
    Soulburn
    Soul fire
    Immolate
    Bane of Doom
    Conflagrate
    Chaos Bolt
    Incinerate
    Incinerate
    Corruption

Keep Immolate, Corruption and Bane of Doom up, keep Conflagrate and Soulburn on cooldown.

    Affliction

    Glyphs

    Prime

    Glyph of Haunt
    Glyph of Corruption
    Glyph of Unstable Affliction

    Major

    Glyph of Soul Swap
    Glyph of Fear
    Glyph of Soul Link

I haven't played much PvE Affliction this expansion so feel free to critique, but this has been going well for me so far. Although a common tactic is to Drain Soul when the target is below 25% health, it no longer does this. I'm not sure weather this makes Drain Soul unviable or if it should replace Shadow Bolt while the talent Shadow and Flame is still up, I haven't done a dps test yet, but right now I just continue casting Shadow Bolt in between DoT refreshes.

    Curse of the Elements
    Soulburn
    Soul Fire
    Unstable Affliction
    Haunt
    Corruption
    Bane of Agony

At this point you need to just keep track of your DoTs. Keep Unstable Affliction and Bane of Agony up, keep Haunt and Soulburn -> Soul Fire on cooldown. You shouldn't need to touch corruption as it refreshes when you cast Haunt.
