Securing a bought wow account.

Hey, i was reading posts earlier and i found this account with the perfect character for me to swap my main to! But the problem is that the account owner might decide to recall the account or call blizzard with I.D to get the account back so i would lose the character it would also be a lot better for me if i could get the character onto my own account by using CC's method here

This is how I secure a account.
Buy a new wotlk,bc and orignal CD then tranfer the chars from the account that you bought to the freshly made account. Make sure the new account has same info as the bought account(first,last name) then merge the new account to a new battle.net with YOUR info. Also ban the bought account.

so would this still work? if i created a whole new wow account, transfer the character to that account (without merging) then merge the account with my own battle.net and then transfer the character onto my original account. if that made any sense lol. (the method by C.C was over a year old. anything could have changed now)

when you create a new wow account does it automatically merge accounts with battle.net? or do you have to do it manually. or does it merge the account with a chosen battle.net regardless of the last name?

Sounds good to me. However the same names part is risky though since Blizzard have a thing for I.Ds but you can skip that by just calling them over the phone.

This is a good example but I myself have these questions on my mind,

1) If you ban the account, cant he call in and act like it was a hacker that banned it and CC'd the characters.
2)Would banning the account raise a red flag? Giving you an email with demand of an I.D
If so, it would be better that you get his I.D first and if something happens you can act like you are the real owner.
