Gold sellers beware!Scammers!

THis should be in the Scam Prevention forum , but i couldn't post there.
Here is how I got scammed. I have a gold selling thread here,and yesterday I recieved a mail from someone who seemed to be a legit buyer. He had an 82 lvl char, wanted to buy just 30k gold , had a lot of quests done. Yesterday I made the 30k gold trade giving him the gold first. Unexpectedly HE PAYED ME on paypal AS A GIFT even(0 fees).
This evening he contacts me again saying he spend all his gold, and wants more, like 80 pounds to burn and he wants to buy. 80 pounds was about 70k gold and told me to trade him the gold first because it is a lot of gold. Well you guessed it , i traded the 70k and never seen the 80 pounds. All in all I think it was a gold buying site, although he spoke english quite well. So i ended up selling 100k for 32 GBP. His "name" was Malik Imran and mail [email protected]!
So is this a new trend? They Pay you to gain your trust then burn you for more? Anyone else got burned like this? Or if it is a similar thread i would like to see it.

The irony is I was wondering these days why gold scammers are so stupid. They keep the same emails, and you cand find them fast. They trade with lvl 1 chars.They speak poor english,you can google their scammer names and find them.They have a pattern. Until you meet the unexpected. This guy had skills. I will never trade large amounts of gold like that on trust!

I think it is more difficult to do now, but my sister lost over $20,000 in sales from EQ1 gold. She would make sales, the people would pay via PayPal, she delievered, then they retract the payment by claiming undelivered goods or something. She still made $70,000 that year, but it was a huge hit. Ah, the hey day of gold farming, when you really could make a ton with just a few accounts! There was supposed to be a settlement related to the retractions but I don't think she ever got a dime.

wel i only buy from randyrun.nl if i need gold sometimes on difference server where i want to bot on but randyrun is the best gold selling company when it doesend has the amount of gold it gives you back the money it might be allitle expensiver then the rest but atleast randyrun is a good company

Hah, it seems this guy really was a normal wow player, found him online.With no moral,he was very calm like nothing happend, he seems to have forgotten that you get banned for buying gold and scamming people in game. His Ingame char is Sine , he plays on Grim Batol EU. If you see him online don't forget to send him your regards. Also if more people can report him from blank or hacked accounts it would be great.
