Some interesting information on MMOwned Reputation that I couldn't seem to find in a site FAQ.

• WHEN CAN I GIVE REP? - Once you have lost your "Lazy Leecher" status, you can give Reputation to others.
  
• HOW MANY PEOPLE CAN I GIVE REP TO? - It seems that users with low (between 2 and 80) Rep can give out about six (6) rep in a 24 hour period. That is (1) rep per person, to (6) individuals in 24 hours. This may or may not increase as your site rank increases... I do not know. (This is what is meant by "You have given out too much reputation in the last 24 hours and must wait to give more)
  
• HOW MUCH REP MUST I SPREAD BEFORE REPPING THE SAME USER AGAIN? - Once you give Reputation to someone, you can not give it to them again until you give rep to (24) other individuals. (This is what is meant by "You must spread more rep before you can rep that individual again")
  
• HOW MANY REP POINTS CAN I BESTOW ON A USER? - How much Rep you bestow upon someone is determined by "REP POWER". This is determined by some site statistics, including, but not limited to: how long you've been a member, your site rank, and your postcount. As these values increase, you will automatically give out more Reputation points. The specific value of your REP POWER can be found on a table in the MMOwned Handbook, linked above.

Agreed it is hard to find, although kur said it's obvious. >_> Currently the wiki header is broken (redirects to /forums/wiki instead of /wiki/).

Just edit it onto the wiki when you get a chance.

...but I still don't see anywhere on there about how many people you can rep in a 24 hour period (seems to be 6), and how much rep you must spread before giving it to the same user again (seems to be 24).

Reputation

Reputation is the reward system of MMOwned and is a big thing here, the more rep you get the more sections you get access to. Here is how the system works:

Rep Power

Rep power is how much rep you can give to others, giving rep does not take away from your own, you can only give a certain amount of rep per day.

You must have 5 posts or above before your reputation is added to others.

You gain 1 rep power for every 365 days that you have been a member of MMOwned.

You gain 1 rep power for every 2000 posts you have written on MMOwned.

You gain 1 rep power for every 150 rep you have on MMOwned.

i think the handbook is up to date... the screenshots are old but the content is as relevant as it has been

I was referring to the screenshots using the old theme, the rules/sections listed being outdated and rtsowned/pokerowned are not mentioned. But yeah rep/ranking have not changed (apart from the post requirement for stuff no longer matters as far as I am aware, just rep determined).

You gotta give rep to 10 people and wait 24hours before you can rep the same person again. I can currently rep 2 people a day. (4 rep each)

Yeah mmowned handbook is outdated in terms of pics and some missing info, but all the info in there is still relevant for the most part. However I may update it sometime

10 people? That surprises me... as I still can't give rep to some people that I've repped in the past, and I am fairly certain that I've given it out to more than 10 people since giving it to them. Kurios advised me it was 24 people for me... perhaps it is different for each person depending on their Rank / Rep Power?

I can currently rep 6 people a day (1 rep each)...perhaps this is different depending on Rank / Rep Power as well...


Either way, still seems quite murky to the general public, so I'm glad I started the discussion.
