Another Gold Making Method - Pre-cataclysm

Not sure if this has been suggested before yet, but another of the upcoming changes announced on the European forums recently included the currency changes from WotLK emblems.

Triumphs and frosts will be upgraded to the cataclysm emblems currency, BUT. Anything below these emblems (Heroism, Valor, Justice, etc) will be -converted into gold- when Cataclysm finally comes around.

Yes, that's right. Every emblem below triumph will be automatically converted into gold, so get saving them up! If you've capped your gear, maybe run some dungeons and trade down the triumphs/frosts you get.

It's not yet been announced exactly how much gold per emblem you get, but it's a sure fire method to earning a little extra even before you have to start off with the new expansion.

Until later, a soft cap will be kept in force. So for instance, if the gold/emblem conversion was at 1:1 ratio, if you saved up for 3,000 triumphs and traded them down, even per gold you'd still fork in three grand once 4.0 hits our clients.

Even so, 3000emblems is like ****ing insane O_O much better ways imho. To be honest, just do the tried and true professions...

• Emblem of Heroism = 5.5 gold each
• Emblem of Valor = 5.5 gold each
• Emblem of Conquest = 5.5 gold each
• Badge of Justice = 1.833 gold each

200 emblems alone would still pocket you a free 1,000g booster in accordance to what Gizmo said.

Ye but the emblems of triumph and frost turn into justice points which is used for gear in cataclysm, so it wouldn't be such a great idea if you want some gear for cataclysm endgame.
