Question about Akrios's Eviscerate X video

For anyone who has not seen his last video *Sniff* it can be watched here : Eviscerate X By Akrios - World of Warcraft Movies

My question is, what is the burst of damage (about 2k) that looks similar graphic wise to a mages arcane explosion? It occurs nearly every fight and hits for a decent amount. It's definatly not his pyro rocket or a gnomish lightning generator, so.. what is it?

Note: An example of what i'm talking about is exactly at 23:24 in the video. He does it to a guard inside of the stormwind building.
