You release a generator on this site, no one says No to free gametime, so lets say 500 people download it from MMOwned.
Now, many people on mmowned are also active on other forums, + everyone has a guild/friends etc.
1 week later, literally half of the wow community gets free gametime, leaving Blizzard with around 25% less profit in total (wild guess, but cant be off too much).
You'd honestly think they'd let it continue? After a few weeks 99% will use it..

This thread is very amusing. But no. It does not work in the way you seem to think. Do you really think Blizzard, serving like 10 million WoW players every month, would use a payment/product distribution system weak enough to be broken by some random kid on a forum? Not meaning to sound harsh or anything, but thats the way it is. And even in the (very unlikely) event that you would find some sort of weakness in this system, and start spreading free game card-keys, do you expect to just be able to without legal consequences? Doing so is essentially stealing their products..

Highly unlikely, first of all.
Second of all, the keys become activated once they are purchased in the store. If they're on the shelves and have not been purchased, they do not qualify as "valid keys."

You'd get sued for theft. By using a time card you did not pay for to play on Blizzards copyrighted MMORPG, you are officially stealing the game.

Blizzard is so big, it'd be no big deal for them to sue you for a million dollars, then settle for $500,000 and the keygen is completely erased from history.

Seriously. Don't waste your time. Your would have to be a amazing hacker just to figure out their system. I honestly doubt your smarter than the designers that made the gamecard system. Tons of people tried in the past and NEVER got anywhere.

blizzard has new way of authentication

if you have a working card number but the item was actually purchased (IE STOLEN) it wont work, and yes ive tried

i called blizzard with a working, unused code, they told me i needed to have the item bought before it could be used
