WoW/B.Net account question

So, a while back I sold my WoW account. I was the OO on that account, and it was merged when I sold it.

My questions:

- I have access to another old account for which I am not the OO. It is merged to a B.Net account with my own information. Is this a red flag for them or does it matter? What about using a CC for game time or some other service since this is not an account originally created with my name (it was created before this B.Net business).

- If I instead simply went out and bought a fresh account and attached it to a new B.Net account with my information, what happens if the account I sold has a problem? Would they ban any accounts under my name, or would my "new" account be safe regardless of what happens to the old account?

I believe they just ban the account that is the problem, not mass banning.

Also, the battleNet info replaces the merged WoW's info.
