Can I be sued? Please help.

Today I ordered 2,000 gold to one of my friends characters on his account for his birthday this Saturday from WOW Gold. I called him up and was like hey be expected a face to face trade I ordered you some gold he was all "okay sweet". Well, when the gold is delivered, instead of 2,000 he gets 20,000. I get emailed asking if I would return 18k, but he had already spent it all on Prime Saronite for his Shadowsedge. He didn't know I only ordered 2k, he assumed I ordered 20k and spent it. Now I'm in a delima because this gold website wants me to cough up 18k gold and I just cant do it. So any suggestions?

They're selling gold, which is illegal, so they wouldn't be able to sue you for something that's illegal for themselves.

I dunno what they can do about it though, they possibly could make an anonymous mail to blizard showing information that you bought gold, but i doubt it.

Delete the character it was given to? Would that even help? They have his character name and my REAL name. Soo I really don't know what to do.

You pose as a chinaman, I'll pose as a buyer, you can sell me the gold via their website, accidently give me 50k instead of 5, i'll refuse to return it, they still have to pay you, and, we pull the scam again on horde characters a few days later. They wouldn't (Probably can't) sue you. At most, they'll probably try and report you although you only have to worry about that if they can SPEAK proper English on the server.
