How to track a character down?

As title suggests. I want to know where one of my ex-guildies has gone, I know the original server, his character's name everything about it (class/race/spec etc.). Though he changed servers and his name to go with it, so how do I track this player down?!

Contact CSI, have the chick make a face recognizing software in a bulletin board.

Then ask them to redirect one of the satalites in space towards Blizzards server center. Zoom in on the server rack
Them zoom in on the reflection next to the server rack
zoom in to the reflection of the reflection of the third server rack
Now zoom in to the reflection of the reflected reflection of the fourth server rack
Then zoom into the small PC screen that was reflected by all the reflected reflections, and you will see hes character.

No but seriously, I gotta figure this shit out. He's still on our server but about to xfer. Anything that's related that I could track him down with. I know about wowprogress but it's FAR from flawless (since it's experimental and all).
