I got the official Beta, and downloaded the Cataclysm installer. I am now logged in, but there is no sound files for NPC, or worgens . Gnome and troll zones are messed up.

I checked my files and in the beta folder i only got
WoW-4.0.0.12539-enGB-patch.exe.torrent
WoW-4.0.0.12539-to-4.0.0.12604-enGB-patch.exe.torrent
and the latest
WoW-4.0.0.12604-to-4.0.0.12644-enGB-patch.exe.torrent

What about the previous patches listed in your quote? If i download them from a torrent and include them in the folder, will the problem be resolved?

You don't need the old patches anymore. The new downloader starts at version 4.0.0.12635.

There is an updated Beta client available for download. This client includes new features that allow you to stream game data while you play. This will reduce the time you spend downloading and patching World of Warcraft once installed.

To continue playing in the Cataclysm Beta, please do the following:
1. Close the World of Warcraft Launcher
2. Uninstall your current Cataclysm Beta client
a. Windows
i. From your Start Menu, click Control Panel, then Add/Remove Programs
ii. Select "World of Warcraft Beta" from the list and click Uninstall
b. Mac
i. Select your "World of Warcraft Beta" folder and drag it to the Trash icon on the dock
ii. Right-click on the Trash icon and select "Empty Trash"
3. Download the latest version of the Cataclysm Beta
a. Visit Battle.net
b. Login to your Battle.net account
c. Select "Account" at the top of the page, and then select "World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Beta" from the Game Accounts list.
d. From the Download Game Client box, select Windows or Mac to begin downloading the installer.

You can extract the .torrent from the Windows installer. I haven't tried it with the Mac version.

He's got a point... I was thinking of modifying trinity so I can use it as a sandbox for beta... So, installer anyone ?
