I need help making my own WoW private server, here is what I got so far...

I have been searching how to make my own private server on a mac for years. This site has been most helpful so far.

Here is my situation.

I can NOT install macpack BUT, I do have something else that lets me go into DB's of WoW private servers. All I am looking for is a way to get either a un-used or abandoned private server that I can erase all work and start my own.

Simple as that, and if I have something wrong or missing something, please tell me.

simple. ditch the mac and get pc, do guides in 5 minutes, ???? , profit.

if you are unable to setup the private server yourself (idk nor care tbh about mac porting) you should have for years now vm'd/dualbooted/bought a pc and follow a simple tutorial.

Use bootcamp to install windows on your mac if you don't want to spend money buying an entirely new computer.
This because with regard to wow private server platforms; windows is the best supported.

Then it's as simple as following a guide.

It's a built in utility, all you need is a version of windows to install and run.

Boot camp requires an extra HD I think, but the software is free and now comes with all new macs. :S
Old stuff....

Also:
1. Download MacPorts
2. Sudo port install svn
3. Use svn to download the arcemu release
4. Install the devtools from the MacOSX install disk
5. Follow the instructions from arcemu's wiki
The devtools include gcc and g++ along with everything else that goes with them.
If you encounter an error while compiling the server make a support post here or at arcemu's site.
MacPack is a repack and so we will not and cannot help you.
