Not sure why everyone is in such a rush for beta, it'll be here soon.

Those are the same Patchnotes as for the 4.0.0.12164 Build. You even can see it in the date 6.3.2010
And this launcher notes have been online since this build. So it's neither did the patchnotes get an update since the last build nor is this any proof for beta coming this month.


You even gave the answer to your post in your 1st sentence. It's the PTR account, not a beta account.

I have done 2 PTR's since wotlk came out, it's 'NEVER' ever given me a new ptr account screen...

they changed the whole thing on how you get onto the ptr with an account. Anyone that transferred a char to the ptr has a WoW1 (PTR) on their account. The beta also looks like WoW# (PTR) but with a cata logo and you can actually see the beta forums/beta website.
