It was already pretty often the case that the korean site had their informations before the US or EU ones. So I don't doubt it. Finally something moves...

Actually, the translation makes it look like more a chance to win a F&F invitation than the actual beta.

Wouldn't winning an F&F invitation not make it F&F anymore? Or do you suddenly become blizzard's friend for winning a contest? =D

I'd put every bet the alpha will end in about a month. It's senseless, and blizzard knows that, to let it run even more as 40 players can't and won't test shit as much as thousand. Also, the preparation of the live servers, the korean announcement for the chance of an invitation for an open beta... I doubt the alpha is going to last long.

There not, there's only 1-2 who are friends with blizzard employees. Most of the people who have access bought it, quite expensive for a month or two's access to something that isn't even working fully yet. £300 each key I saw average. You see, not everyone really could care less about having alpha access when the game is coming out later in the year anyway, why ruin the content if we've already done it? Sell it for lots of cash? I think so.
