best profession for STABLE money?

I never do professions, ever on any charcter even on vanilla, I want to do some professions becuase even after buying 5k for flying mount (10k with 310% speed) etc I am starting to break the bank

I can have up to 2 professions but which professionsgive me a stable amount of income and isnt just a fluke of 10k an hour or something stupid

Herb and mining are simple, alchemy and jc too. All of those give money steadily if you know what to do (which is not alot)

Herbalism/Inscription

Hands down.. the most profitable, you grind in uldum for whiptail/etc, and then you mill all of your gatherings. The darkmoon cards require like 10 parchment and a couple of the uncommon inks, while the fortune cards only take the common ink and like 1 parchment. You can make both and profit like mad.

Well, herba and mining are not profitable now I think. I bot on couple servers with herba/mining combo and all prices dropped a lot.

Enchanting with Jewelcrafting makes a ton of money, or Alchemy with Jewelcrafting. If you have more than 1 85 you can have those 3 profs and your income will be maximized.
